
Anne I. Shaw founded Shaw Legal Services, Ltd. in November 2003. She is primarily a civil litigator and has been one her entire legal career and concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation, civil rights, and personal injury. Her firm handles a vast array of work including, estate planning, corporate transactional work, bankruptcy, divorce, and real estate law. She also volunteers her time and was co-chair of the Judicial Evaluation Committee for the Asian American Bar Association from 2001 – 2004; Chairperson of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Asian Advisory Council; board member of Lieutenant Governor‘s Asian American Advisory Council; Treasurer of the Asian American Bar Association; President of the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago; Past President of DePaul University’s Asian Alumni Association; Past Vice President of the East Village Association; Board Member of the DePaul University Alumni Association; and a recipient of Asian American Bar Association’s 2004 Outstanding Member Award. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing from DePaul University in 1992 and her Juris Doctorate from IIT Chicago Kent College of Law in 1995.
